Do I have to clean my solar modules?
Assuming a pollution-related yield reduction of 3% at national level, this adds up to 1.5 gigawatts – the equivalent of a nuclear power plant – left unused in Germany alone. Plant operators thus not only prevent losses in yield, value and performance of their own PV-investment. They also promote the energy revolution by significantly fostering additional electricity generation.
Will the sunbotics systems damage my PV modules?
Our products are designed to preserve your installation and yet drive it to peak performance, whether via the sunbotics Suspension System or Robot. The load applied by the Robot does not exceed 4,000 pa, the industry standard for PV modules is 5,200 pa. The robot itself drives over the surface using special rubber profiles. The brushes are also available in different degrees of hardness and are specifically designed to clean gently.
Can I use multiple sunbotics systems at the same time?
Using the sunbotics system you can run up to 4 brushes simultaneously – depending on your choice from 2 different e-boxes.
Do I necessarily need a power connection to operate the sunbotics system?
All sunbotics e-Boxes are powered by a rechargeable battery or electric outlet. The e-Boxes are available in different versions according to your needs. All versions of the e-Box, including all connections, have a membrane that has undergone leak testing to ensure a stress-free cleaning experience. Simply attach the e-Box to different positions if required.
How long can I clean without recharging the e-Box?
Depending on the number of motors used and the e-box selected, you can clean up to 2.5 hours without additional power.
Can I use sunbotics on all types of PV systems?
The sunbotics systems’ task is clear: A single solution to tackle all challenges. Thanks to the Quick Coupling System and the intelligent carrier arms, you can comfortably adapt your product to any type of installation. If required, you can purchase additional brush lengths as well as further products to retrofit on request.
What is the Quick Coupling System?
The motorised Quick Coupling System is the most important part of the sunbotics series, along with the support arms: it allows each product to be converted and adapted to any situation in the shortest possible time. When purchasing a sunbotics system, a large portion of the necessary products are already included. It can be extended in just a few steps. Additional modification parts for easy extensions are available on request.
